Let’s start with the easiest connection method, wired. Whether it’s an office environment or a home network, wired network connections are made using standard Ethernet cables, sometimes called Cat5 or Cat6.
Plug one end of the cable into the KLIK’s Ethernet port and the other end into an available network jack. Depending on your setup, you may have to plug directly into a router or other network equipment. Don’t worry if a wired connection isn’t feasible or possible, we’ll cover wireless connections in the next segment.
When KLIK is on a wired network connection it will display the wired icon along with the network name on the Standby Screen; in this case LAN.
The IP address changes from the default that was displayed at startup to an address assigned by the network.
KLIK’s operating mode will be change at the bottom of the standby screen and indicate Station Mode, meaning it is connected to a network.
